The Art of the Interview

Episode 118

Guyon Espiner is one of New Zealand’s most highly respected journalists.

Four years ago, he gave up drinking alcohol and has just released his new book The Drinking Game – which looks at how big business, the media and politicians shape the way we drink. He is also an advocate for the revitalisation of Te Reo Maori using his platform to introduce the language on a daily basis.

This was a cracking ep. Guyon is sharp, worldly and insightful and his experiences and stories from two decades in New Zealand journalism would rival anyone in the country.
